Staring at my Double 4 siding one afternoon, I refused to cut it up like some amateur surgeon just to mount my charger. So I designed this standoff that slides right over the lap instead, no siding butchery required. Printed it solid in ABS, drilled four stainless screws through the siding, this plate, and the charger bracket, then punched a ~1.5" hole in the back for the conduit (inch and five-eighths, I forget — it fit). It's been on the house over a month now through weather with no drama.
