great design, well tought closing mechanism, fast and easy to print! Probably in the first few days the reading will be “wrong” because the sensor is basically buried in silica gel, but eventually the container’s and silica’s humidity % will match, so I don’t see any issue with that.

redesigned it a bit to be longer and accommodate the full length of the acrylic sheet I used (I’ve made two short doors with a magnetic latch), but kept the base design intact: it’s a great model, the rounded base allows to leave a gap around the hinge to allow for movement but nothing more, it works flawlessly and the tolerances are great to allow smooth movements.

some tiles where a tight fit but a bit of “jiggling” of the tile itself solved it, this design is way more “space efficient” than the classic wheel but works just as good

Great design, printed perfectly with PLA (Bambu Matte), no issues and the “wheels” spin so smoothly that exceeded my expectations. The “guide” for the filament is a simple yet very effective design, I like it very much The overall design of the base is great, fits just right in the lid of the IKEA box, I’ll probably print something for the back so that I can store some desiccant as well. side note: I’m evaluating how to add the AMS lite spool holders to be able to have the spool spring back when retracted from the nozzle, maybe it won’t fit in the box but I’ll let you know if it works :)

Great clip, it’s tight enough that it doesn’t slip around the spool and the filament is held in place perfectly, printed with the same filament it’s holding to match it’s quite pleasing The info on the front are a nice touch, it allows to not put the sticker on the spool and still have them available.

one of the hinges got stuck somehow (I suspect an over extrusion on the internal piece) and broke when trying to close it after print, it’s still perfectly functional as if it was perfect, just “cosmetic damage”, the internal design is awesome, using it everyday
