just got an A1 mini. experimenral phase begins
#2024 Annual Summary
I recently acquired an A1 Mini from Christmas and it has been nothing short of incredible. As everyone does, I started with a simple benchy, a benchy that opened a world of creative problem-solving.
I have always been adept at modeling, but after I first set up my printer, it happened. I fell in awe with the selection of models on MakerWorld. I was printing left and right filled with excitement. They were mostly stupid trinkets such as octopi with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's head on it and fidget switches that wasted almost a kilo of filament before I realized my mistake, but it was truly fun, the kind of fun you get on Christmas morning. After a couple of days, like many others, I learned about MakerWorld's Point system so I started uploading some models of my own.
Although I have only published a few models, they have a story. I started off creating a small puzzle I saw on a YouTube short of all places, this represents the boundary between printing random things and creating new things. Next, I made a simple headphone holder which I revisited earlier today, adding a clamp using one of the screws. Then, my Crock Pot's lid's handle broke off so I made a new one. I use a retainer and always forget to put a cleaner in it, but my Efferdent dispenser fixed that. My most recent creation, a cable grommet for my printer space, made my setup way cleaner!
I hope you consider this for your award.
