applied a thin copper layer using electroplating. one of my first attempts. pics don't do full justice. looks better irl, but room left for improvement. its a nice model to test with.

printed in ABS. smoothened using acetone vapour. applied graphite paint, polished with a cloth. pic shows up to that. will use electroplating later to add a final shiny copper layer.

only printed and primed so far. but can't wait to finish it by hand painting.

had some blue metallic paint left over and could not resist ;) shell and bottom painted with acrylic and highlighted with some gold/copper brushing. shines bright :)
