On my 2017 BMW 430i, the fuel tank breather valve failed and the quick-disconnect clamps broke during removal. Since the hoses are custom, the only option was replacing the entire assemblies at significant cost. Instead, I designed small clamp-style connectors that replace the broken fittings, saving a couple hundred dollars.
