Bio
I’m a practical maker who designs functional 3D prints driven by real use. Everything I publish starts as a personal problem begging to be solved.
I care deeply about practicality, clever design, and printability. Designs are iterated through everyday use. Points of failure get revised and refined until they disappear. Materials and print profiles are chosen iteratively to make the best product possible.
Feedback, remixing, and stress-testing are encouraged. Good designs improve when used hard by people who know what matters.

Great revision, solved most previous issues very cleverly, and the pen fires great.
I did find that the threaded part of the shorter male end of the pen was weak and would shear off the body if twisted too hard.
I also ended up printing the firing pin with its side hole facing up, and it not only slid better, but the bolt screws in better and holds up stronger. All things aside, I highly recommend this model! Super fun to mess with and very powerful!
P.S. Whittling the firing pin a bit sharper helps a ton.
