#Love Confessions for Valentine's Day When I first met my fiancée, I learned she was a big fan of the artist Rodin. I had just gotten my first 3d printer - a cheap bed slinger. I spent days on end trying to print her a 300mm tall copy of Rodin's "The Kiss." I eventually got it to finish printing successfully, but it was an ugly, low-resolution mess. I tried sanding it down, but couldn't smooth it without losing even more detail. Then, a month before my birthday, we went out for the anniversary of our first date. I decided to present the ugly little print to her. I presented her with the finished model - rough as it was - only to have her burst out laughing. Crestfallen, I laughed along, thinking she hated the ugly little thing. Then she surprised me by confessing that because I spent so much time messing with my printer, she had ordered me a P1S as a birthday gift so I would spend less time messing with the printer and more time with her. Since then, I have printed kilometers worth of filament in all kinds of plant pots, replica sculptures, drawer organizers and shelf brackets. I HAVE spent more time with her - since I could now print from my phone with the Handy app, and not have to constantly check for printer spaghetti.
To this day, that banded, print line-scarred, poorly sanded Rodin sculpture sits on our dresser. Even though I could reprint a flawless reproduction in a dozen hours with my P1S and a .02mm nozzle, she won't let me because it was the first thing I made for her.

I really, really wanted a customizable set of colorful icons for my office whiteboard and the chore/meal chart on my home fridge. At first I designed a series of 2000's-era Windows dialog themed icons in PLA. Then I realized I could save a ton of time and filament by making the design modular.
I bring you: the round modular fridge magnet icon set! Three classic icons: the green check mark, the blue question mark, and the red "X" easily supported by the 2x6mm base platform. More to come!
