Description

UPDATE (12/06/2026) - .stl and .3mf files have been updated with modified objects. Per user feedback the slots for the timber are now 19.5 x 38.5mm and the screw chamfering has been increased by 1mm on the pedal board endcaps.

Modular pedal board that's printable on a 256x256 print bed!


The 3mf file includes the endcaps, low supports for the bottom row, high supports for the top row and some PSU clips for attaching your power supply to the underside of the top row.

 

Endcaps

The endcaps are set up for 1x2 // 19x38mm timber and have a 3mm wide screw hole with 3mm chamfering. A 4mm tapered screw with a head diameter of 9mm will fit flush against the endcap. Before assembling I'd suggest you run your screws through the endcap holes without any timber in so the screws can cut into the PLA. 15mm of your timber will go inside each endcap so measure out how long you want your pedal board and add 3cm to the total. I printed these in PLA, they seem sturdy enough.

 

Supports

These require a pair of 3x16mm tapered wood screws per support. You can print as many supports as you want, I chose to print 2 pairs for my 62cm board but I probably could have gotten away with 1 pair. I printed these in PETG as it's what I had in my printer at the time, I'm sure PLA will work just fine though. The high supports have a 5 degree tilt to match with the angle of the top row, when you're attaching these to the board make you're you've oriented them correctly. Also don't screw down too tightly, the low support in particular is quite thin and will split easily.

 

PSU Clip

Definitely measure your power supply before printing, I'm using a cheapo Ali Express PSU so I doubt it's adhering to any standard size if there is one. These clips will hold a PSU up to 53mm x 32. Like the supports, use a 3x16mm wood screw to fix this to your timber.

 

 

Hardware/Materials needed

  • 1x2 // 19x38mm timber (what ever length you want your pedal board x4)
  • 4mm wide tapered screw for fixing timber to the endcaps (I used screws 40mm long, be sure to create pilot holes in your timber)
  • 3 x 16mm wood screw for supports
