Sakura [Framed] is the second iteration of my original and well-loved Sakura [Framed] design. 🌸✨ I wanted to change the design a little from the original while keeping the same beautiful cherry blossom feel that made the first version so special.
This version is thinner and more compact, but also more rigid, giving it a cleaner and sturdier overall feel. 🖤 The black borders help frame the design in a more immersive way, making the bloom stand out even more and placing the focus directly on the Sakura tree itself.
The result is a refined, elegant bookmark that keeps the spirit of the original while offering a fresh new look. 📚💖 It is perfect for cherry blossom lovers, fans of delicate floral designs, and anyone who enjoys a stylish bookmark with a graceful and modern finish.
Maker notes:
While the included profiles are carefully optimized for a 0.4 mm nozzle to retain detail across different settings, this model is still best printed with a 0.2 mm nozzle for the sharpest ribs, phalanges, and frame curls 🧩🖨️
Make sure to clean the build plate with dishwashing soap and warm water before printing. Handwashing soaps should never be used to clean build plates because moisturizers can harm adhesion 🧼💧
USE A LIGHTER! - a quick pass with a torch on the printed parts will get rid of the inevitable stringing that comes with this type of models.
Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

Start with Black
At layer #13 (1.13mm) swap to Brown
At layer #15 (1.29mm) swap to Hot Pink
At layer #21 (1.77mm) swap to SnapSpeed White for the rest.
