Description

This is an insert for the retail version of the Mind MGMT board game.

It is designed to facilitate the use of the various Shift modules, which are used to modify the game.

Here are some of its main features:

  • specialized trays for the main components and for each faction (rogue agents and recruiter),
  • the tokens from the Shift packages are stored in their faction's tray (which are numbered accordingly),
  • a total of six card trays, which allow for many storage configurations (see below for my suggestion),
  • all cards can be sleeved and fitted into the various trays.

Important: this insert was designed for horizontal storage.

Since the components sit horizontally flush, it can be made to work vertically by adding some padding.
This is not included in the shared file, but if there is interest I can look into designing such a component.

On colors: in my print I have used three different colors to distinguish the function of the various components.

These are green for the rogue agents, red for the recruiter, and gray for general components.

Note that all components in the file are given in a single color.

Suggested organization for the six card trays:

  • basic rogue agent cards,
  • basic recruiter cards,
  • rogue agents setup cards (from the Shift packages),
  • recruiter setup cards (from the Shift packages),
  • feature cards,
  • game setup cards and booklets.

How it fits in the box: see the three attached pictures for how to fit everything into the box.

  • start by putting the main board on the bottom layer,
  • add the trays for mental notes, recruits, steps, mayhem and for the pens,
  • put all the other trays in the middle layer as show in the picture,
  • finally, in the top layer put the secret map, the mental screen and the rulebook.

Finally, note that there is plenty of space in the figure trays (where the standee bases are located).

These can also store various components to be used over multiple sessions.
