Description
When inserting heat set inserts I found that they could never be inserted vertically leading to various problems in subsequent installations and the heat set insert strength was also insufficient
Searching online I found that all methods use linear guides or parallel arms to control vertical insertion However all these devices are very bulky and are not suitable for insertion in all areas due to the size limitations of the insertion machine many large models cannot have inserts placed in the middle or in some specific locations
Considering the need to maintain verticality during insertion the idea arose to attach a spirit level to the soldering iron and control the soldering iron's verticality by observing the level
For this purpose I simply designed this heat set insert leveler bracket A bubble level is placed on the large disc and it can be directly slipped onto the back end of the soldering iron for use
After actual use the effect is excellent By controlling the verticality of the soldering iron with the spirit level the inserts are all inserted very straight
My soldering iron is a Zhengdian Yuanzi T90 soldering irons with similar diameters should also work
If it does not fit I have provided the STEP file and those who are able can download and modify the model directly
