Description
I created a simple bedside lamp with an organic style reminiscent of tree roots. To create the skeleton, I first built the image I had in mind and then created the model with Powered by MakerWorld-Image-to-3D (https://makerworld.com/makerlab/imageTo3d). I then modeled the upper part of the lamp to adapt it to the battery-powered LED module inside.
Guide for printing and assembling the model:
I printed the lamp's skeleton without supports, while for the top part (plate 2) you need to enable normal automatic supports, and set the walls to 3 to limit light diffusion if you choose a light filament color.
Once plate 2 is printed and the battery, touch sensor, and USB-C port plugs are inserted and connected, complete the assembly with a bead of glue for the bottom of the cone and for the touch sensor in the upper part of the lamp. Once everything is assembled, you need to create the housing in the upper part of the skeleton for the USB-C socket by cutting the branches in the position you prefer.
