SBA4 Cheek Riser
Print Profile(5)

Description
This is a cheek riser for an SBA4 pistol brace. It raises your eye level one inch.
Update 6/4/26: Added a 2mm wider and 3mm wider version with tool channels for removal. The 3mm wider version is removable by hand but does not sit as flush in the grooves as I would like but it was requested that I make an easier model to remove so I did. My recommendation is to use the new 2mm wider version and plan to use a flat head screadriver or something similar in the channel for removal as it sits flush and stays locked in better overall.
Instead of wasting the filament for a picture and different print profile, if you do not want fuzzy skin, when you open these in Bambu slicer click the object, go to the fuzzy skin option and click erase all painting and it will be smooth. I will say though, I have the fuzzy skin option set in a way that I do not think is abrasive but completely understand if someone would prefer the smooth look/feel.
I used 4 walls, 80% infill, support cubic infill pattern and tree supports with esun pla+ filament. Please note that if using a weaker filament than pla+/pro, the very front portion of the tube area could pop out. I used some regular matte pla on one and when installing the front part of the tube popped off revealing the hollow tube behind. I actually kinda like the look so I am going to leave it but if you don't want that then a pla+ or pro appears to provide sufficient strength to prevent that. I wasn't able to pop it out applying firm pressure against it on the ones I have printed using esun pla+. Either way, it doesn't affect functionality at all, just aesthetically different.
All NFA regulations apply if located in the US. In light of the ATF's back track on the pistol brace issue I would highly recommend only installing this on legally sbr'd platforms. Otherwise, only use a pistol brace as intended. It is not worth being the one who tests the legal waters around intent so this is intended ONLY to be used where all necessary legal requirements have been met for its use.
Please note - This piece was made to fit tightly and it takes a bit of force to slip it into the proper position, but once its there its locked in and should not move. A little difficult to install makes sure it does not wiggle around during use. Just want anyone who prints this to be aware that you may have to use more force than you would think to get it to lock into the proper position but that it is designed specifically that way for a reason.
