Father's Day Sculpture with son

I wanted to create a simple sculpture that captures a familiar and joyful moment between a father and his child: a son riding on his dad’s shoulders.

Starting from the beautiful design by @MakePrintable, I created this remix with a few adjustments and improvements:

• Scaled up the figure so the sculpture presents better when printed
• Modified the base for better balance and printability
• Cleaned up edges and small imperfections in the mesh
• Preserved the minimal sculptural style of the original model
• Ensured the model prints easily without supports

The goal was to keep the warmth and simplicity of the original design while refining the model and adapting it into a small piece that works well as a Father’s Day gift or family-themed decoration.

Recommended print settings and tips:

• Enable variable layer height for optimized detail where needed
• Try fuzzy skin mode if a textured finish is preferred over a smooth one
• Use marble-effect filament to give it a more sculptural, stone-like appearance
