NerdOCTaxe Stand – minimalistic, modular & two-color

The **NerdOCTaxe Stand** was designed with a focus on **clean printability**, **modular design**, and **visual contrast**. Thanks to its well-thought-out geometry, the stand requires **very little support structure** and can therefore be printed quickly, reliably, and material-efficiently.

A special highlight are the **Honeycomb-Inlays**, which can be **printed in two colors**, creating a strong visual contrast. The inlays are **interchangeable**, allowing the design to be adapted at any time – for a color change, **only the inlays need to be reprinted**, not the complete stand.

The inlays are also designed so that they can be printed **without an AMS change system**. This means the two-color look can be easily achieved even for users without a multi-material setup.

In addition, the appearance of the stand can be further individualized by using **different print plates**. Depending on the plate used, **various surface patterns** can be created – for example, a **carbon look** or other textured finishes.

For **attaching the miner**, **heat-set inserts** are used. These ensure **significantly higher durability** compared to directly cut plastic threads and allow the miner to be **assembled and disassembled as often as desired** without the material wearing out or being damaged. This makes the stand ideal for maintenance, modifications, or hardware upgrades.

In terms of design, the stand is based on the
**NerdQaxe++ Stand** (https://makerworld.com/en/models/1022267-nerdqaxe-stand#profileId-1596196),
which I designed previously. As a result, the NerdOCTaxe Stand integrates **harmoniously into the existing setup** and creates a consistent overall look.
