Description
I have already printed many scrapers, but all of them had a problem: the angle from the scraper to the print bed was not fixed. So I scraped at the wrong angle and thereby damaged the scrapers. Then I printed another model, hoping it would work this time. However, after heavily scratching my (expensive) smooth print bed with a scraper, it was time to create a sustainable solution:
The Perfect Handling Scraper
With this scraper, the angle from the scraper to the print bed is already fixed: 9.5° - the optimal angle. I achieved this by angling the handle to the scraping edge and providing a large contact surface.
Print parameters:
- Layer height: 0.16mm
- First layer: 0.16mm
- Inner wall: 0.42mm
- Infill: 0.42mm
- Infill density: 10%
- Infill pattern: 3D Honeycomb → very stable
