Description

I have designed the perfect bed scraper that uses Bambu Labs scraper blades and has the perfect angle to not damage your build plate. This model also works with the original screws that come with the printer so you don't have to fix any others. It also has a place to put the heatbed nozzel wiper so you can clean the nozzle directly after use. I have also made a print profile with a pause before the Bambu Lab logo so you can manually switch color if you don't have the AMS.

Features

  • Has a perfect angle to not damage your build plate but still be easy to use
  • Works with the screws and blade that comes with the printer
  • Has a place for the heatbed nozzle wiper to clean the nozzle after use
  • Has grip ridges and rounded walls for the best ergonomic grip
  • Has a hole for hanging

I have also designed gridfinity container to store the scraper.

As a lifelong woodworker with years of sharpening exsperience I have been messing with something very similar to this. I found I needed a 16 degree angle wedge to match my blades, that are actually not original Bambu. Anyway, I also printed in a m3 nut, which means printing the wedge at an angle, and is a bit of a pain, but it gives a good grip. The big advantage I found is that with the wedge at the right angle, the blade can be easily honed to a razor-sharp edge. This does make the edge easy to damage, so I added a "Back angle" to make the point more robust. I do this by simply turning it over and using the natural angle this produces. So far I am extremely happy with the result. Far superior to the original Bambu design. If you have a fine stone, give it a try. I used a fine diamond stone and a leather strop to remove the wire edge. Pic one main angle, pic 2 back angle. I am printing this version as I post, it's a much faster print, and the hollow handle probably means more solid

Yes, with the angle I needed for the blades I have. My latest ones have a nut shaped recess in the bottom so I can add the nuts after, making it an easier flat on the bed print.

I’ve chosen this scrapper between dozens of others and still like it pretty much after printing it. fyi: failed to print it twice on my p2s until added a brim

Isn't the blade reversed?

I don’t think so. Seems like this is the only way to install the blade because the height of the hole at the side is not the same

I've been using the original bambu scraper and it's been fine. Turns out you don't know what you're missing until you try this one. The designer isn't lying when they say it's the perfect angle. Brims from supports just pop right off with zero effort. 10/10 scraper.

I like this handle/grip for the bed scraper! Useful angle to easily scrape the print bed, and the handle holds the scraper securely. It's a good size, has a good grip and is easy to hang up for storage.
