Description
A holder for tea or coffee cups. It is simply inserted between the seat cushions with the “sword” (black in the pictures). There are already several such models, but I haven't found one that met my requirements. Therefore, I designed this model with the following features:
- For cups up to 9cm in diameter
- 5mm high rim in the cup area, so that nothing runs out of the holder if something spills, but cups with very low-set handles still fit inside
- Handle width up to 2cm
- 5mm recessed tray for tea bags, spoons, etc.
I distributed the parts onto separate print plates because I wanted to print them in different materials and colors. For the model shown, I used PLA for the “sword”, PETG for the tray (due to contact with liquid), and TPU (due to its higher heat resistance and non-slip properties).
