Description

A retro-inspired rocket desktop display I made for my son. It hangs from a transparent line, while two 10×5 mm neodymium magnets help stabilize it and create a floating effect above the base  🚀

⚠️ NOTE ⚠️

The magnet holes are designed for a tight press fit (exactly 10 mm), so no glue is required. However, depending on the filament used, inserting the magnets may be difficult. I used an insert press to successfully install the magnets in place.

I tested scaling the model to 105% to increase the hole diameter to approximately 10.5 mm, but this resulted in the holes being too large for the magnets. If you plan to scale the model, I recommend limiting the scale to no more than 103%.
