Gutter Hook DN75-150

Who doesn't know it? You have to clear the gutters of leaves again.
You climb the ladder with your bucket in hand, ready to remove the leaves.

What problem do you usually encounter? Right, you can only work with one hand and have to switch the bucket from left to right or right to left to clear the other side of leaves.

I thought to myself, there must be an easier way...

So I sat down at my laptop and thought about how I could simplify the process.

Quickly found the technical drawing and started modeling in FreeCAD.

You can see the result in the pictures. With the hook, work can be done with both hands.

Safer, more efficient, and more ergonomic than before!

Final Test:
In the last two pictures, the bucket was filled with approx. 8kg of wood and hung on the hook. 

No bending!

Version 2.0 represents a small update, as the hook is no longer angular but round, so that the standard size of a bucket's metal handle can be fitted (8mm) and stability is increased by the rounding.

Version 3.0 represents another small update, as the dimensions have been minimally adjusted once again, so that the parametrization becomes consistent across all models.

Furthermore, additional sizes (DN75, DN100, and DN125) are now available!
