Description
I designed this because I kept needing simple boxes for random projects and didn't want to redraw them from scratch every time. This is a fully adjustable OpenSCAD script that generates a clean, tapered box with a perfectly matching lid.
How to Customize: You don't need to install anything. Just click the green "Customize" button here on MakerWorld to change the size. You can adjust:
- Dimensions: Width, Depth, and Height.
- Taper: Make the top wider than the bottom (stackable) or narrower.
- Lid Fit: You can dial in the "Lid Clearance" value. I found 0.15mm - 0.2mm is usually a perfect snap fit, but you can loosen it if needed.
- Finger Notch: A filleted, "U-shaped" cutout to make opening the lid easier without scraping your thumb.
