Description

If you made it here for the other 3d print able protest pins and pendants/keychains (Like FCK AFD and Against Nazis) , they will be uploaded soon on here as well as Thingiverse

UPDATE:
The Flat variants are now located here with all new variants including ones that work as pin badges: https://makerworld.com/en/models/442016#profileId-347881

Watermelons that can be printed with any printer in multiple colors by easy to snap together parts.

All the many variants are in the different .3mf files with plates ready to print

There is a wide array of variation that you can print and you could even use the watermelon generator to make your melon exactly how you like. You can find the generator here: https://tocogames.itch.io/watermelon-generator

The main variants are:

  • 45° spherical cut
  • 90° Slices
  • 60° Slices
  • 45° big spherical cut

Then there are also variants with outlines and different ways to print them split (see instructions pic or video)

Print in full with 4 to 5 colors

OR

Print a separated watermelon like this:

  • Print your red part, this can be multi color with seeds, split into seeds/red or holes for putting filament inside
  • Print the green part, this can be a single green color or a green part that is split in two parts.
  • Finally print the white part (its a variant if the green parts is made up of 2 elements)
(There are also green parts that work without any white part inbetween)
  • Simply snap the parts together (no glue required)

I recommend printing multiple parts of a color at once

There is no support required. For cold plate printing I recommend a good amount of gluestick.

The tiny watermelons also have red parts that come with a keychain hole or a magnet hole (10x2mm magnets)

You could also print keychain rings like these https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5135293

The watermelon is widely known as an symbol of solidarity with palestine. If you are going to a protest they are a great thing to hand out. They are of course also nice to have as something for the kitchen or just to wear on anything you like.

More watermelon? I made a 2D artwork as well and uploaded it to RedBubble: https://www.redbubble.com/de/people/davision3d/shop?artistUserName=Davision3d&collections=4000754&iaCode=all-departments&sortOrder=relevant
