These log hides are lovingly designed decorative elements for terrariums and are excellent as a retreat for reptiles, amphibians, or invertebrates.
🌲 Version 1 – Closed Log
• Looks like a sawed-off, gnarled log with mushroom dummies on the sides.
• Has a round opening at the front that serves as an entrance, while the rest of the trunk remains closed.
• Ideal for simply placing it on the bottom of the terrarium.
• Thanks to the integrated 3 magnets (10x2 mm), it can be flexibly attached to the terrarium glass, allowing it to be placed somewhat elevated – perfect for offering animals different levels.
🌳 Version 2 – Hollow Log
• Same design with detailed wood and mushroom structure, but appears as a continuous, hollowed-out trunk.
• Allows animals to crawl completely through and offers multiple escape routes.
• Also equipped with magnets, allowing variable attachment to the terrarium wall.
🔧 Special Features:
• Very natural-looking design that fits well into jungle- or forest-like setups.
• The magnets are strong enough to provide a secure hold, but can be easily detached to clean or reconfigure the hide.
• Offers animals security and reduces stress, as they can retreat at any time.
