Security money safe
A beach or home money safe with a lockable lid (a great deal if your wife wants to hide it in front of you :D )!
Rack and pinion lock mechanism as you can see in the photo!
Assembly:
After printing, clean the gear with a blade!
Put the rack and pinion in the closed state, due to the full extension on both sides!
Attach the lower closing cap with instant glue!
You can make a key yourself, just the size of the square is 3.28x3.28mm and the height is 5mm!
Tested with Gembird PLA!
Update :
Key ring STL file added!
Opening key with a hole so you can put it on a key ring!
