Description
It would be great if you follow me 💚💚💚 |
This is a parametric version of my Ergonomic File Handle. Now it is very easy to adapt the handle to your own requirements. This model contains some print profiles which can be printed without any additional configuration.
Its possible now, to configure your Tool Handle with differnt tool holes in different sizes, e. g.:

If you customize the model, you can modify the following parameters:
| Parameter | Default Value | Range of Values (*) | Meaning of the Parameters |
|---|---|---|---|
| pHandleDiameter | 17 mm | >= 5 mm | Diameter of the handle |
| pHandleHeight | 85 mm | >= 10 mm | Height of the handle |
| pHandleHoleDiameter | 6 mm | >= 0 and <= pHandleDiameter / 2 | Diameter of the hole in the handle (0 means no hole) |
| pHandleHolePos | 70 mm | >= pHandleHeight / 2 and <= pHandleHeight - pHandleHoleDiameter * 2 | Position of the center of the hole in the handle from bottom |
| pHolderHoleHeight | 50 mm | >= 0 and <= pHandleHolePos - pHandleHoleDiameter | Height of the holder hole |
| pHolderHoleDiaBottom | 4 mm | >= pHolderHoleDiaTop and <= pHandleDiameter / 2 | Diameter of the holder hole at bottom |
| pHolderHoleDiaTop | 3 mm | >= 0 and <= pHandleDiameter / 2 | Diameter of the holder hole at top of the HolderHoleHeight |
| pHolderHoleWidthBottom | 6 mm | >= pHolderHoleWidthTop and <= pHandleDiameter / 2 | Width of the holder hole at bottom |
| pHolderHoleWidthTop | 5 mm | >= 0 and <= pHandleDiameter / 2 | Width of the holder hole at top of the HolderHoleHeight |
| pHolderHoleDepthBottom | 2 mm | >= pHolderHoleDepthTop and <= pHandleDiameter / 2 | Depth of the holder hole at bottom |
| pHolderHoleDepthTop | 1 mm | >= 0 and <= pHandleDiameter / 2 | Depth of the holder hole at top of the HolderHoleHeight |

(*) Adjusting the model with values outside the range results in the maximum or minimum possible values being used automatically. This prevents the structures of the adjusted model from being destroyed.
Recommendations for printing:
- For durable versions of the tool handle, printing with PETG, ABS or ASA is recommended.
- the model can be printed without any support structure and brim. If there are adhesion problems, brim should be adjusted accordingly.
Recommendations for mounting:
- The tool can be heated so that the handle melts onto the tool.
- In this way, tools that do not have an excact holder hole can often be fitted.
