Description

In this model I inspired a long gliding albatross.

When you throw it with force, it can make loops and glide further for several meters.

In print profile are two versions.

They differ in their center of gravity. One has a lighter head and the other has a heavier one. I recommend trying the lighter albatross first. Its flight is less stable but it stays in the air longer. It's better for light releases and does loops better. The heavier model can fly further and maintains flight trajectories better, but you have to throw it hard.

Their behavior may vary depending on the filament you use. I tested them mainly with Bambu PLA Matte and ASA.  ASA is lighter and the model with a heavier head flew better in my case.

Instruction

Do not remove the model before the plate has cooled down as this will result in distorted wings and poor flight.

Do not use filaments that stick too much to the board. I do not recommend PLA SILK. I used generic PLA and Bambu Pla Matte, Basic and generic ASA

Once printed, place the side tail rudders vertical.

It is also very important to slightly bend the tail slightly upwards.
