This set contains a selection of load distributing inserts designed for practical use in and around the house. Each insert was programmatically generated to cover a useful range of sizes — this is a curated collection meant to fill real-world needs - proper tolerances are baked into the models.
Key features:
- Designed to insert into an object to spread the load across a wider area - this prevents tear outs
- Suitable for screws with a thread diameter of up to 4 mm (5/32 inch for our US friends)
The model name gives its dimensions.
E.g 12-3 denotes an insert that inserts into a hole of 12 mm diameter to a depth of 3 mm
