Description
š Supportless Compression Spring
Short Description:
A fully printable compression spring ā no supports needed! Designed for fun, testing, or just to show what your printer can really do.
āļø Design Story
This spring was one of my very first designs ā back then, my old printer needed supports to print it.
Now, with my Bambu A1, I can print it completely support-free!
A small but satisfying success that perfectly shows what the Bambu can achieve.
The base is printed with 25% infill using a Hilbert curve top pattern for extra strength and style,
while the rest of the spring uses 15% infill for light flexibility.
The result: a firm base and a nicely springy body!
š§© Printing Tips
After printing, check the top coils ā on bed-slinging printers (like the A1 or A1 Mini), you might notice a little āmotion blurā in the upper layers because of the Y-axis movement.
CoreXY printers donāt have this issue, and their prints will appear cleaner.
š” To compensate on A-series or similar printers, simply use a modifier to reduce speed in the upper part of the print.
If you scale the model, donāt forget to adjust the layer height accordingly.
This Listing is created with help from a KI, because my english is basic only

š§” Personal Note
This was my first upload on MakerWorld, and it still makes me smile.
If you like it, a Boost, Like, or Comment would mean a lot ā maybe one day I can trade those boosts for some new filament š
