Description
Hello everyone!
I'm offering this raised patch I made for my drone case.
ITEM
The model is very simple; it's a base on which the raised DJI lettering rests.
The base is 84mm x 56mm, with a height of 1mm. The corners are rounded with a 4.25mm radius, and the surface edges are beveled at 45° with a length of 0.5mm.
The lettering (in white) was copied using the DJI font and is 1mm high, perfectly centered.
With these dimensions, the object weighs 7.4 grams; add purge for color changes. The patch can be scaled to any preferred size.
PRINTING
Printing requires no special considerations; the layer height was reduced to 0.16mm, and the infill is cubic adaptive at 15%.
Two print profiles are uploaded, one for printing with AMS and another for multicolor printing without AMS.
For printing without AMS, the multicolor effect was achieved by pausing at layer 7, where you can unload the background color and insert the color for the lettering.
N.B. IF PRINTED WITHOUT AMS USING THE AMS-PROGRAMMED FILE, IT WILL BE MONOCHROME!
Print times are:
- Printing with AMS: 22 minutes
- Printing without AMS: 18 minutes to the first pause, 22 minutes total (+ time needed for manual color change)
The object in the photo was made with a Bambulab P1S using Bambulab PLA Matte opaque carbon and Overture PLA PRO white filament.
