#PrintClinic does anyone know why this is happening? I am running 0.2 mm nozzle with pla. i occasionally do maintenance (once or twice a month) and is basically a brand new build plate. any thoughts on how to fix it?

Looking at your photo, it looks like your nozzle is running way too close to the bed, which is causing that uneven thickness. I actually use a similar third-party cold plate, and their soft coating can sometimes make the automatic bed leveling inaccurate, especially with a tiny 0.2 mm nozzle.
To fix this, you have a couple of solid options. First, you can set a custom Z-offset in your slicer to lift the nozzle slightly, or run a manual first layer flow calibration to reduce the flow rate. Another great trick is to raise your first layer height to 0.15 mm in your slicer. This gives the filament a bit more breathing room and helps mask any minor leveling issues.
