## Self-Use Design Manual
Maximize compatibility with all Bambu Lab FDM models, selecting reasonable splitting methods.
Set safe wall thickness for the top and bottom surfaces of the model, with a conventional wall thickness of not less than 10 times the layer height.
Thin wall thickness is an integer multiple of the line width, with minimum wall and perimeter thickness not less than 5 times the line width.
Use standardized installation methods, prioritizing snap-fits or standard bolt mounting positions, and non-standard threads for special conditions.
Reserve assembly clearance according to filament characteristics. For sliding fits, PLA: 0.15-0.2mm, PETG: 0.20-0.25mm. For tight fits, PLA: 0.05-0.10mm, PETG: 0.10-0.15mm.
Control fine features within the printable range, with minimum line width not less than 0.43mm.
In the XY plane, use fillets for corner processing and continuous lines for exterior surfaces to reduce start-stop segments and avoid exterior wall defects.
Add chamfers to bottom edges to prevent warping and improve bottom forming quality.
Avoid overhangs below 30°, with unsupported overhangs ≥45°.
Reasonably set supports and bridges to ensure print success rate and reduce post-processing workload. Short bridges not exceeding 40mm; if exceeding this range, configure easily removable supports.
