I wasn’t sure whether the girls would go for it, but they’ve spent the whole morning taking turns batting the ball around the track (very entertaining, both for them and for us).
Printed very well with white Elegoo PLA+ on A1. Needed pliers to remove the little support, but the ball still travels just fine even with the extra material still in there. Sticking silicone bumper feet to the bottom prevents it from scooting around on the floor.
Considering printing the “empty donut” + a hollow TPU ball to squish in there for slightly quieter playtime

Really good, spins easily, holds plenty of desiccant, totally does the job!
A couple minor notes: I’d suggest thickening the sides and/or strengthening the connectors as they’re very flexible as-is. This is fine while they’re inside the dryboxes, though the spools do have a tendency to wobble & bump against the sides of the box (mine share a cabinet with my A1, so they rock with the printer’s movement).
Otherwise, these are really excellent compared to the several other drybox rollers I tested. Nice and simple but super effective :)

These are very cool and have actually been very helpful to reference while slicing!
I glued magnets to the back and mounted it on the breaker box I’m using as a magnetic swatch board for quick access. Pic taken midway through gluing magnets onto the individual swatches, so it looks a bit awkward, but you get the idea!
If you plan to store it vertically, note that the swatches may fall out. Fit likely depends on how much your filament shrinks. I used Elegoo PLA (basic black for the back and white PLA+ for the swatches) and they were fairly loose (hence putting magnets on each), though it might help to just scale up the z-axis to deepen the slots a bit. Also stuck labels on the backs so I know which one goes where ;)

Really outshines the alternatives with how easy it is to pop the cloth in, how well it holds, and the simplicity of the design aesthetic.
Per another commenter’s recommendation, I popped a second round of microfiber under the first, which keeps the isopropyl alcohol around long enough to give my whole plate a good scrub before it evaporates and adds extra cushion :)
Considering slicing a hook onto the rim so it can be easily hung from my SKÅDIS board, and while it’s really pretty nice to hold as is, potentially messing around with some ergo grip options for the back.
Thank you!

Looks clean, functions well, bezel snaps on securely & shouldn’t pop off on its own, and the flip cover can be adjusted (vs some other designs that either swing all the way open or shut).
Some kind of latch would be an excellent addition to this model to keep the cover fully closed and prevent noise during vibration compensation! :)

Finally, a roller kit that fits random Amazon 4L cereal boxes! They look the same as all the other ones but I guess with slightly different dimensions than the ones you see around here the most.

Dyna Dry Box is a perfect setup for these (aka works as it should!). Printed using Bambu A1 with DarkMoon3D G10 garolite plate, which allowed Elegoo transparent PLA+ to print at ludicrous/166% speed without any issues(!!).
Switching from spool hangers to dry boxes after backflow from the dryer fogged up my printer cabinet (ack!). I need to mount the box lids on the cabinet’s ceiling to avoid occluding with the printer or my access to the filament, and this should work great. I’ll try to remember to add a pic once it’s set up.
Cheers!

Thank you so much for the logo-free version, it’s beautiful. Very quick & ultra high-quality print, looks super nice with other minimal A1 mods. Perfection 👌🏼

Quick & very useful print for someone who constantly misplaces all her tools :)
Apparently the tape measure I have is a weird size as the two other shelf-like mounts I printed before this were the wrong size/shape. Thankfully, this one should fit most (if not all) belt clips and takes up much less SKÅDIS real estate to boot.
NOTE ON LOOSENESS: @AU3D’s SKÅDIS Lock Plug will keep this mount firmly attached to the board (11mm flat version ended up being the perfect size for me), otherwise it’ll come right off whenever you pull down the tape measure.
Problem solved, no complaints!

I’ve mounted a camera to my A1 in a way that blocks this from being used as intended. Luckily, it totally works plugged in sideways with the “c” facing away from the printer as well! Gently flexing the tines also allows it to securely hold scrapers with hex-y handles like this one: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1208293-it-s-time-to-upgrade-your-bed-scraper-scientifical?from=search#profileId-1222573. Turned out to be xactly what I needed!

Really nice! I tried a couple others first, but most of their frames were too thick and covered the edges of the screen, looked bulky, popped off easily, or were loud during vibration compensation.
This one looks & feels great, with very thin yet sturdy bezels that leave the whole screeen accessible/visible. It stays put, doesn’t rattle (as long as it’s latched or all the way open), and the hinge swings easily without assembly or hardware required.
The print was quick and turned out ultra clean on my smooth garolite DarkMoon3D plate, using matte white PLA + translucent PLA to make the logo super subtle (it’s a cool effect, hard to see in photo though).
No notes :) thank you.

excellent! The extended stem really helps the fit on the magnetic extruder cover. Very clean (as we’ve all come to expect from your designs!).

Great! Would love a slightly slimmer bezel and a version with a flip-up screen cover (if it doesn’t already exist), but so far so good! It fits nicely — very easy to get on but doesn’t come off on its own, and the camera angle is good. Now to figure out camera-specific cable management… ;)

A little bit pointy for my human skin, but the girls seem to like it, especially when I jam treats or catnip between the spikes. The tolerances are fine, easy to slide in (I guess your update helped a lot!). Thank you :)

Absolutely gorgeous, meets/exceeds expectations. I’ve had my eye on this since we got our Bambu A1 + AMS Lite several weeks ago — it became my “to print when I’m done printing things I need for the printer” object, so I’ve really been looking forward to it.
The A1 worked on this overnight. It handled it really well with ELEGOO beige PLA filament on “sport”/124% speed. There were some curlies attached right out of the printer, but those were very easy to trim or just brush off with my hand. It really does look like a crumpled paper bag, I. the classiest possible way.
Obsessed with this designer’s work. Intending to come back for more! :)
