A classic reinvented from scratch (No AI, Full Fusion360).
It is a complete reinterpretation created from scratch, maintaining the essence of a test boat but taking it to a more modern, colorful, and challenging terrain
Every part of the model has been designed to evaluate different aspects of a 3D printer Its shapes include overhangs, bridges, sharp changes of direction, fine details, and areas that require good cooling and dimensional precision Additionally, it incorporates elements specifically designed for multicolor printers, testing the integration of colors on non-planar surfaces and the transition between tones located at opposite ends of the part
One of the most characteristic details is the rear propeller, which prints fully functional and suspended during the process This element acts as a test of tolerances, overhang printing capability, and mechanical precision, allowing one to check the limits of the machine
Beyond its function as a calibration piece, this boat aims to be a pleasant object to print and display Its colors, proportions, and smooth shapes give it an almost toy-like appearance, moving away from the purely technical aesthetic common in test models
