Belonging to the historic 2600 series of CP Comboios de Portugal since the mid-1980s to the present, these locomotives are currently in service in the north of Portugal. They have operated fast services between Lisbon and Porto, preceding the alpha pendular service. They have a maximum speed capacity of 160 km/h.
