Great, I did a custom print profile to print a massive one

Great print and awesome outcome, thank you to the designer! A couple of people seem to have struggled to assemble it, but if the instructions are followed it can be relitively straight forward.

a warning that because of the raised text, these cannot stack on top of eachother neatly, otherwise, a good print & profile - thanks.

Nice design, although the plate 4 (2 colours, AMS) is a duplicate of the non-AMS versions, as it doesn’t allow you to choose multiple colours, and pauses to change the filament. A print profile where the frame and the arms are on a single plate could be nice.

great, a couple of holes in the shade, so maybe I’d print it slower if I did it again

Printed in transparent amber PETG, it looks nice. It’s a little small to fit on a 4ft tree, so I suggest scaling it up by at least 50%. I found the supports a little difficult to remove, but it’s my first time printing in PETG, so it might just be a property of the material, as the original profile uses PLA. Dispite having difficulty removing the support, it’s impressive how little support has been used for this print, and the quality of the print is very good. I would recommend this profile, and I will likely print it again in a larger size, with a little adjustment to the support to try and make it easier to remove with PETG - maybe by using the AMS to create PLA supports, since it is only the first couple of layer that need supporting.

It came out great, there are a few defects so I’d recommend printing it slow

my makers beginner kit motor didn’t work, but no issues with the print. I did need to use the spare slider because the first one broke. I recommend pushing a corner of the slider through the slot and using a pair of needle nose pliers to pull the rest through from the other side.

No issues with the profile, and it tidies at additional cable for the ANS well. If anyone struggles with the fit of the cord, I found it easiest to remove to cord from the machine before pressing it in.

The print quality is good, although the hinge at the back broke across the layers when inserting the pin. No one else in the comments seems to have had the same issue so I’ll assume it’s my error some how, but be careful in that area if you do print this! I printed the version with the logo and it’s turned out nice :)
