I created this design for my thicker laptop because most of the available stands were made for slimmer, MacBook-sized devices. I wanted something that actually fits my laptop instead of forcing it into a stand that was never designed for its size. This stand now supports a standard-thickness laptop, a MacBook, and also has space to hold two phones comfortably. ​
