#X-Struder V1 #Crowdfunding Feature Hello Everyone! Below is the first official test of the X-Struder V1! The timelapse is about 20 minutes of extrusion condensed into about 25 seconds. The filament that came out, without pulling was 1.85 to 1.9. The larger diameter is because of die swell. With the puller it was about 1.5-1.75. More tunning will be necessary, but the concept works. The plastic being extruded is grinded failed prints and support material, the colors that are in the hopper is majority Prusament Galaxy Black, then Prusament Azure Blue, and lastly Prusament Oh My gold. The final cost was around $140, give or take $10-20. Much cheaper then any other extruders on the market!

#X-Struder V1 UPDATE I just checked the tracking for the final parts. Because of the recent storm, the packages were delayed. But the good news is, one is in my area and the other has left the hub in NY and will be arriving on Friday the 31st.

#X-Struder V1 Great News Everybody! I have finished the prototype of X-Struder V1! Even though this prototype was designed as a proof-of-concept, it showed amazing proof in this new system. X-Struder V1 MK2 will feature, not the slow heating ceramic cartridges, but with the upgraded flexible heading pads, which should heat up the barrel much faster. The nozzle will be upgraded from a stock nozzle to a custom one, requiring no drilling. Before, the heater blocks had to be drilled to fit the heaters, but now the pad will be clamped via hose clamps. Before the max temp was 120c in the back and 180-200c at most, now the max temp should be 220c and constant. The masonry drill bit will still be used as it was promising. The new 3D Printed gearbox pushed the torque to about 39.25 N-m or 3920 N-cm or .3 horse power! Now, the need for no adapters to connect the stock nozzle and the heat block also reduces the total cost to around $135. This price could change, but it should not cost more then $170 at most.

Hello Community! I have some great news to share! The X-Struder is fully built and wired, I am currently waiting on the nozzle. After I get the nozzle, I will be able to test it fully. I am currently sick, so it might be a couple of days before I can fully test it once I get the nozzle. A couple of days ago, I tested the motor and heaters. The power supply can power both, which is what I hoped. The heaters created 3 unofficial heating zones. Z1:120c Z2:200c Z3:120c I hope to post a video soon! #Crowdfunding Feature #X-Struder V1
