Description

This is a cardboard screw that can be used to construct things out of cardboard (2-3 layers) and will work with Makedo kits. The original model was modified by filling in the center hole of the screw head that was previously hollow in order to improve bed adhesion and increase yield since you'll probably want more than one. This modification removed the original's need for printing with rafts/brims.

I found that splitting them in half and printing them on their cut side, then gluing them together made for a lot stronger scru. otherwise, I find they snap as soon as too much torque is applied to the scru if printed vertically. Otherwise really awesome print! My gf's son loves it and I'm printing a whole set for my nephew. thanks!

that's a great idea! orienting screws is a pain but that might be doable as a geometry change that doesn't need glue... will look into this! What material were you using?
