V2 of the popular mini spool: https://makerworld.com/en/models/73678
Changes:
- made the inner core 56mm for an easier fit on the ams lite
- made the spool 55mm wide for optimal compatibility with the respooler
- changed the outer diameter to 120mm
- made the flanges sturdier
- turned the holes on the edges into slots for easier filament insertion
- changed the mating mechanism for easier assembly
Assembly:
The fit is not as tight as the v1 (which was very very tight). Depending on the accuracy of your printer, add layers of tape around the inner core until you have your desired tightness. I added 2 layers of paper tape to mine.
I printed mine in PETG to allow for drying PLA in a filament dryer.
Empty spool weight (in PETG): 69gr
Filament weight as pictured: 180gr
Max filament capacity: ~300gr
