Description

there's also a smaller rose i design

-----

Valentine's day is comming

so I just need some “back up ” in my drawer

after spend three days on this design….

make me kind of wondering ….maybe I should just paying somebody to bring in some real roses

might be way cheaper and faster , lol

anyway, always nice to have some flowers around

at least I don't have to change water for it

----

this model do need to use your hair dryer or heat gun for twist the leaf a bit

just heat it up a little and twist the leaf, make it looks a bit more real

other then that it should be a eazy print :)

let me know how it goes

UPdate Jan,10 9:00pm : fixed thin wall issues some printer might not print properly

UPdate Jan,12 5:30  : optimization of the rose for silk or transparent filament

UPdate Jan,12 6:00 : add long stem print profile as requested

UPdate Jan,13 6:45 : my wife complain about the ugly stand I made, so I just had to add a simple vase in print profile

UPdate Jan,24 12:50 : add small leaf + a petal for display night light

I saw you roses and it made me want to model my own. I gave it a stab and then said let me look at what you did. Decided, ok....I get the idea....then said screw it, I'm just printing yours. I just wanted the top. I printed it in Bambu's new PLA + Silk. You did a great job!

Hi, I just need to understand correctly, do you need to use a hair dryer to get the leaves off the plate after printing?

clean your print plate with dish soap when you have bad adhesion issues, add support won’t help anything

I had already cleaned the bed and used the Bambu glue. This is the 3rd time it has failed due to snapping whilst printing or moving

your filament seems to be really wet, try with using regular PLA while drying it out , but bad adhesion most likely are print plate failure and redownload the print profile again if the one you had is from few days ago

The rose looks great, thanks for the model. I printed the rose and then the flat leaf table stand, and I guess I'm not sure if the hole in the bottom of the rose is supposed to fit on top of the stand, but it doesn't. The hole in the bottom of the rose is 4.8mm, and the diameter at the top of the stem on the flat leaf model is 5.75 mm, and the base of the stem is 6.5 mm. Seems like it would be ideal if the rose could slide onto the small part of the stem, but it is too small. The diameter at the top of the stem in the base design is 4.6mm, so I think this might just be an oversight on the flat leaf table stand model.
