Printed fine in petg, but some design flaws. My iron while looks identical, seems to have a longer cable that doesn't fit in the small space and slightly different socket size so the it doesn't get in all the way so the lid can't close. Also, the lip of the bin is super thin and fragile. Finally you should have mentioned your large logo on the bottom, or add a photo showing it.

Thanks for your feedback. I add photos with logo. I will not change the structure 1.0 anymore. I wanted minimalism, my cable is apparently shorter. I may make version 2.0 and other plugs.

reprinting, you can see that the wall thicknesses have been improved, everything is as it should be 👍💪

Unfortunately, the walls of the two border sections are too thin and break, they cannot withstand the stress. The cable is not included, but this may be because my model has a longer cable, and the plug slot is incompatible with Italian models

I have this same iron, and have been wanting a box for it. But I want storage for the insert too. Maybe the iron would be in a top tray and the bottom would have dividers to hold the inserts. Maybe even two trays for inserts. Maybe if you want to do a 2.0 version. And a US version too.

Can you download the CAD files. I need to change the plug to a US standard. I've never figured out how to edit a STL file.

From .3fm in slicer you can generate stl.
