Description

4 color hueforge model of a bird perched on a branch at golden hour.

Colors used: (all matterhackers build series (i do not know the transmission distance on them))

black

brown

coffee

yellow

Swap Instructions:
Black until layer #6 at 0.56mm
Brown until layer #10 at 0.88mm
Coffee until layer #19 at 1.6mm
Yellow until layer #24 at 2mm

This is a filament blending model, avoid special filaments and stick with the plain ones for the best results.

Use the exact numbers in your slicer to match up properly.

two different size models are supplied and designed to print with 0.4 nozzle, do not resize the images in the slicer

Thank you for sharing this amazing hueforge, unfortunately I tried to slice it but I getting only 22 layer, the layer hight 0.08 and initial layer hight 0.16 and the infill 100% using bambu studio so I slice it and added the color as you mentioned but the yellow started from layer 19 until layer 22 then I print it but the result was very thin layer in the buttom black area and the yellow was transparent any suggestions?

yea it sounds like your yellow has a much higher transmission distance than mine did. meaning it is more transparent than my yellow. unfortunately with these hueforge prints you gotta play around with the colors and try to use the same brand of filaments to get the same look. I’d try another yellow if you have it. can you post a photo?
