Description

Based on the feedback from a few users I made this new version that have the support for the PTFE Tube on both sides. I honestly still use the older version and did not have any issues such as the one mentioned by some of the people who downloaded the file.

This new version required the following steps:

  • Cut the PTFE tube at 7mm
  • Insert the rod to the first hole and then insert the tube before pushing it all the way in until it settle in the second hole put one drip of superglue at the first hole so it will secure the rod in place. make sure the rod is in the second hole and all the way in before gluing.
  • Install the A1 silicon nozzle wiper ( You can buy from Amazon or from the Makers supply ) I used super glue under the silicon wipe to hold it 100% in place.

Printed in ASA. Seems to fit well, and it passed my first print test :D I bought an a1 style mat, & I cut it in half. The model is rounded on one corner to fit, and the piece I used at random was square on that corner, so it didn't fit snug. I judged this was a cosmetic issue only. I didn't like the rod insertion method for the PTFE tube and found it finicky. I'll likely use your other model for my other printers after I've let this one run a while to test longevity
