Fretsaw for woodworking

We have revised our fretsaw again after receiving feedback. With optimized dimensions, extended functions, and clever details, it is the perfect tool for precise sawing and creative projects

Features and Required Materials

• Cutting Depth and Saw Blades:
  The saw offers a selectable cutting depth of 60 mm (Nano version) or 85 mm (Extended version), suitable for saw blades with a length of 130 mm. This makes it equally suitable for delicate work and larger projects with greater material thickness

   

• Precisely Fitting Lid:
  The lid was designed with minimal tolerances to ensure an exact closure. Depending on the accuracy of your printer, a slight sanding of the front of the lid may be necessary after printing to achieve an optimal fit

   

• Improved Spare Saw Blade Compartment:
  The integrated compartment for spare saw blades now securely holds the blades in place with 2 magnets. This keeps the blades protected and readily accessible—and the best part: they don't rattle

   

• Magnetic Fixing:
  For assembly, 4 pieces of 4x2 mm magnets from the Makers Beginner Kit are required. (1x lid, 1x lid holder, 2x saw blade compartment) When gluing them in, make sure to align the poles correctly so that the magnets optimally fulfill their function and do not repel each other. A drop of superglue is sufficient

   

• Versatile Screw Options:
  • 2 M4 nuts and 2 M4x14 mm hex socket head screws (classic option)

  • or 2 M4 nuts and 2 M4x20 mm wing screws for tool-free handling.
    For the wing screws, special replacement blocks without a recessed hole for the screw head are used

     

• Robust Protective Plates:
  The included plates protect the saw from wear and tear caused by the saw blades. They are attached to the left and right of the frame, with the saw blade fixed between them and secured with screws. Spare plates can be stored in the small compartment under the lid
