Description

This is a very tricky, but addicting puzzle.  This puzzle consists of 6 pieces that, when held correctly, all slide together forming a star. This puzzle is very challenging to figure out if you don’t know the trick!  There's only one way for these pieces to all go together and if you don't know the secret, it'll drive you nuts trying to figure it out.

SPOILER ALERT:

Below I'll show you images of how to solve it.  Don't scroll down unless you want to know the secret!

To solve:

Step 1 - Hold three pieces in each hand that are in a mirrored configuration as shown in the picture.

Step 2 - Rotate the assemblies and line up the center points of each with one another

Step 3 - Gently press them together until they begin to fit within each other

Step 4 - Once the two assemblies are together, press firmly to slide all the pieces completely together.  Firmly pinch the three pairs of parallel pieces together to completely close up the gaps.

To separate the puzzle once it's been firmly pressed together can sometimes be tricky.  The easiest way is to grab the ends of the left piece in a pair with your thumb and forefinger and do the same for the right piece with your right hand.  Then just rock them back and forth little by little.  The star will loosen and eventually fall apart into the 6 original pieces.  The more you play with the puzzle, the easier it will get to take apart.
