Description

Printed the original with PETG, but the threads are a bit sticky, I used a M6 tap to cut the thread on the nut and it works better, but the size of the base didn't quite fit on my rack, so I changed the dimensions by 1mm, also the threads of the screw were a bit weird for the begining. I also created a tightening key, since I was partially destroying the nuts with my metal wrenches.

I haven't tried on a server rack yet, but from just playing with it, it works great. The tool is pretty amazing too! I'm building a 10" PLA server rack and will likely use metal cage nuts, but wanted to try these out to have the option in my back pocket for other projects.

my guess is these things need to be printed with nylon, as I think PLA will creep with the weight and PETG won't be strong enough. I ended up not using the rack posts I have, so I haven't really tested.
