Struggling to find the perfect support options for your 3D prints? This specially designed model takes the guesswork out of the process. This unique collection of calibration prints is designed to help you test and identify the most effective support structures for a wide variety of designs and geometries.

 

The preset models available include combinations of the following:

    • Tree
    • Normal
  • Style
    • Grid
    • Snug
    • Tree Slim
    • Tree Strong
    • Tree Hybrid
    • Tree Organic
  • Base Pattern
    • Rectilinear
    • Rectilinear Grid
    • Honeycomb
    • Lightning
    • Organic

The download contains 3 plates:

  • Normal - Contains objects with each available scenario for Type, Style and Base Pattern.
  • Tree - Contains objects with each available scenario for Type, Style and Base Pattern.
  • Test Plate - Copy the items you want to test onto this plate, slice and print.

The Model

The model used has been designed to test:

  • Overhangs
  • Side Holes
  • Holes on the build plate

Each print has been setup individually as an object and has text on top to easily identify what it is, the first row of text contains:

  • Type (T for tree and N for normal)
  • Base Pattern
    • Rectilinear (Rect)
    • Rectilinear Grid (RGrid)
    • Honeycomb (Hon)
    • Lightning (Light)
    • Hollow (Hol)

The second line contains the style used.

 

Please note this print does not test the Top Z distance (Bambu Lab Wiki) there are other fine models on Maker World to help with that side of things.
