Tongs

I was asked to create a tong set for children to use when collecting garden items and to safely lift insects without damage for inspection.

This is what I came up with, a set of small tongs and tongs with an enclosed cage on the end.

I have included the original solid works files and Bamboo plate file.

I printed these using organic supports using PETG for both the model and the supports, and the supports came away without issue.

I also set them to 4 walls, with 5 base and 5 top layers at .2mm with 20% infill and this allows for just enough tension for small hands.
