Magic Jumping Gem

This is a remarkably simple yet effective magic trick

Print time is also quite short

The wand is best printed in black, white, or other highly saturated colors. Gems are suggested in silk or other lustrous finishes

Adhere the gems with adhesive to the first and reverse-side second holes of the wand

The effect is that the gem seemingly leaps from the first hole to the second, then the third and fourth

Instructions below

Hold the wand at the first knuckle of your index finger, subtly flipping it over. This is the core maneuver of the trick

A slight push during the flip allows the audience to see only one side of the prop

1-2. Briefly obscure the hand while secretly flipping the wand

2-3. Grasp the wand; during a shaking motion, flip it over and present it from the other side. Remember to engage the audience with conversation; you may even invite them to blow on it. Don't perform it as quickly as I have in this demonstration

3-4. This is essentially the same as 1-2. Simply obscure or subtly shake your hand while turning the wand

Now hurry and print it to perform

If your audience includes children, you might hand them the prop and watch them mimic your performance~
