Magnet Press Tool (D4 Magnet)

This Magnet Press Tool can be used to press fit magnets into 3D prints with ease. It is designed to work with magnets that have a diameter of 4mm however can be used to press magnets of larger diameters. And is designed to press magnets into print holes with a diameter of 4.12mm that have a fillet or chamfer to enable ease of aligning the magnet in place before using the tool (Outlined Below).

Main Features

Easily Printable Design - Lying on side face which adds extra strength to the press shaft as layer lines run with direction of force not against.

Press Shaft - The length of the press shaft is 7mm therefore enables the magnet to be pressed into a hole of up to 7mm in depth.

Third Prong On Handle - Enables the Magnet Press Tool to be placed upright on a solid surface and the part to be pushed down over it with the magnet positioned in the hole to be perfectly pressed into place.

Low Filament Cost - Requires only 0.51 grams of filament.

Magnet Application Instructions

Step 1: Place magnet into hole and press down by hand until aligned within the fillet and chamfer.

Step 2: Place Magnet Press Tool upright on surface then turn over part aligning the tool with the magnet in the part and pressing down.

Step 3: Ensure Magnet has reached full depth of the recessed hole.
